WOW
I can't believe how long it's been since I've written. It's been over two months. OK...to catch everyone up on my life......Thanksgiving was good. Christmas was good...It was nice to spend time with Christy for Christmas!!!
Now, Missions Conference this year was a real blessing. We (our family) always gets to eat dinner with the missionaries. Mondays and Wednesdays are fun night for me. I'm always rushing to make it there on time and get something for supper. This year, my good friend Nicole invited me to eat dinner with her and her kids....or was it that I invited myself...LOL Anyway I ate dinner with them Monday night ans was able to get ready on time. I even got to help Lilly get dressed and made sure her makeup was just right. Little girls like Lilly have to have things like that perfect!!!
Anyway, we had some really great missionaires this week. We had the Jeremy Pitman Family to Uganda (they worked with the Guimans before Bro Guiman passed away), Sam Slobodian to Russia, Evan Williams to Honduras, Wilobough Family (I can't remember where they are going), Danny Alford Family to England, Steve Swain Familt to Bulgaria, and the McKinney family to Poland. Every weekend we have a special speaker usually a Field Director. This year Dr Bragg, Director with BIMI. To me this is my favorite time of year. I love all the special things that we do. Our International Banquet was just as good as usual. Our ladies/ men make such good food!!!
WE SURPASSED OUR GOAL!!! We had set our goal at 245,000. Sunday night our goal was set at $259,000!!!!!! Makes me so happy that the Lord is using our church to help so many missionaries get to the field. I pray that our church will always set missions as 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies Meeting
Ok, if you don't go to our church, you are really missing out. We had our November Ladies meeting on Tuesday night of this week. Our theme was Chili night. My mom, bless her heart, worked herself to death on Monday and Tuesday fixing the chili and getting the salad and stuff ready. My good friend Nicole was a big blessing on Tuesday helping mom get stuff set up for the dinner. The chili was great and another lady in our church made this awesome pumpkin roll that we (mom and I) cut up and put whipped cream and sprinkles on. YUM!!!!!
Mom had a short devo and then came the highlight of the evening......MY BROTHER.......
Ok...I have to set the scene for you....John dragged the puppet stage from our K-5 teacher's room (also serves as my SS room) and set it up with a table in front. On the table he had placed a metal pan upside down. Now for all of you that have been to the Wilds, I think they do this skit. Anyway, John placed a wig on himself and got a huge shirt and a pair of pants. Then he and his friend, Craig (our math teacher) did this really funny skit about this guy (named Bubba...that's another story....) Craig was the arms and John's arms were the feet. Craig ended up feeding John Thanksgiving food. There were mashed potatos and gravy, Turkey breast lunch meat, green beans, Coke, and pumpkin pie all over the floor when they were done. Unfortunately nobody had a camcorder to record this blessed event. But it wouldn't be soon forgotten!!! My crazy brother.....Needless to say, the ladies meeting was another wonderful and funfilled night!!!! Don't you wish you could join us!!!!

Rambling
Well, last night was our 3rd ladies meeting of the year. We had a sandwich and chocolate night. There was some really good sandwiches and some really awesome chocolate!! The highlight of the night for me was that I got to hold Cuylee Jo (my munchkin) while we were eating!! I just love her!!! She is such a tiny baby and lots of fun to hold cause she loves to cuddle!!!
There was also a "fashion" show last night that had us all in stitches!! I wish I had pictures cause there is no way to describe the outfits. Melissa (our K-5 teacher) was dressed like a pumpkin. Mrs. Cooper (our Financial secretary) had a denim jumper on with sandwich baggies filled with candy corn. My sister-in-law was dressed up in my brother's camo. Anyway, it was a fun night.
Also last night, I made a decision in my life that I could use prayer from friends to help me on. Lately I've been getting frustrated with some people in life and most of it has been their fault but I'm not completely innocent in this situation. But anyway, I've determined that I'm not going to let other people influence my happiness. I'm not going to let people walk all over me or make me feel like I have to watch everything I say or do anymore but I am going to have to be a little bit more unsensitive. I've spent too long working on my life and getting stuff out of my life that drags me down to go back to the way I was. So I would appreciate your prayers with me on this. I really struggle with this every day.
Thanks for reading all my ramblings!!

First Blog
I'm new to this whole blogging thing. I have a hard time writing stuff down so you'll have to bear with me. I'm currently working for a mattress company. I keep getting asked what I would like to be doing in 5 years and I keep thinking. I want to be at home mom in 5 years!! I would like to have been an at home mom 5 years ago. But I'm having to learn that it's in God's time not mine. (A work in progress)
ANYWAY, I'm going to get back to work now.
