I'm new to this whole blogging thing. I have a hard time writing stuff down so you'll have to bear with me. I'm currently working for a mattress company. I keep getting asked what I would like to be doing in 5 years and I keep thinking. I want to be at home mom in 5 years!! I would like to have been an at home mom 5 years ago. But I'm having to learn that it's in God's time not mine. (A work in progress)
ANYWAY, I'm going to get back to work now.

- I have lived in Virginia almost my whole life. I have 1 brother who is married and pastor of Immanuel Baptist in Clifton Forge, VA. They have three sons, Judah Benjamin, Jeremiah David, John Wesley III, and Joel, that are the constant source of joy in my life. I also have a younger sister as well. She is currenly teaching our preschool at Great Hope and planning her wedding for June 5th. I'm a preacher's daughter and I love God with all my heart and desire to do his will. I love to spend time with children and enjoy teaching sunday school as well as being in charge of the Sunday night 3-4 yr old class. I love to babysit, read and spend time with family.

You're not the only one. I had a goal that I was going to be married with kids by 25, that went out of the window 3 years ago. The realization has hit me that my goal to be married by 30 may also not happen since I turn 29 tomorrow and hear I am very much single, with not even a boyfriend...DEPRESSING!!
We need to keep learning together to give it over to God. I'm having a hard time with this but I'm trying to learn.

I'm a great example of God's timing - the wedding was the 15th, conception was the 22nd - God made the world in 6 days then rested, and gave us 6 days to be "just the two of us!) I was 32 when I had Hannah and 35 when I had Timothy. They are blessings from God! No question!
